The answer to the original question is "yes"--the offensive line and the runners were put into the Power I and assigned to win the game. The early dropped passes and the interception led to the decision. This is the Big Cat drill brought into the game. Miles wants every opponent to know we can do this. Think of the last drive against Florida in 2007 and all the 4th down calls.
