Feminists are against stay at home mons? Nope. Feminists support a woman's right to choose her path.
This may be true among some feminists, but they have done a very poor job of making that point. It seems feminism is more fixated on power and perceived inequality. Most feminist opinion I've seen has been against stay at home moms because of financial independence

New York City attorney and author Elizabeth Wurtzel makes a number of provocative arguments about feminism, class and politics that denigrate stay-at-home moms. Its title, "1% Wives Are Helping Kill Feminism and Make the War on Women Possible," along with its subhed, "being a mother isn't a real job -- and the men who run the world know it," sum up parts of the piece, and its arguments go even farther.

I've never heard or read anything from a feminist that would indicate that they support all choices that women make. In fact it's actually been the exact opposite. Really its been more like "gold digger","basically a prostitute",and "waste of talent and opportunity".
Stuff like this from linked Atlantic article-
I have little in common with todays feminists. I do think many of my beliefs regarding women are more in line with first gen feminism.

I am going to smack the next idiot who tells me that raising her children full time -- by which she really means going to Jivamukti classes and pedicure appointments while the nanny babysits -- is her feminist choice. Who can possibly take feminism seriously when it allows everything, as long as women choose it?
