Guys in cars, pay closer attention.

The dude was doing 90. No way that car could've reacted fast enough with him travelling that fast. No matter how close he was paying attention.

Absolutely he could have. Every driver is legally responsible for not turning in front of a moving vehicle no matter how fast. He didn't have right of way. Probably the car driver either misjudged the bike's speed or simply never saw the bike at all.

This does not excuse the biker from driving so fast he couldn't adjust in time, of course.

Both drivers were at fault here.

It doesn't matter what the speed. People barely see other cars coming much less a bike, always pulling stunts they know puts other people in danger for their own desires.

It's for this reason I won't own a bike today, and Lord knows I want one bad. I have had them in the past, and had a woman pull right own in front of me as I'm getting up to speed, and then stop in the middle of the damn road, only to make me have to lay the bike down under the back of her car.

Let me save you some time and trouble. People are rarely paying attention. Just look at the people in front of you and how long it takes them for it to register that it's a green light, all day long, and the people pulling stunts in front of you as you drive cutting across the road making you slam your breaks, again, all day long. Now think... Do I want a bike to ride in this place?
