I would come with tix in hand if possible, as others have said that's a long way to travel. It will be worth it if you are making this a one-time thing. Tiger Stadium at it's best is an experience that will stick with you. It really does come alive. The tailgating is outstanding but being in that stadium (and as others have said, in the lower bowl) is not something you want to miss out on.
