I'm old and married and usually toting kids so I've never tried the game-day ticket purchase thing. Definitely start checking internet ticket exchanges…here, dandydon.com, lsusports.net, and the bama site.
I would highly recommend getting lower-bowl seats rather than upper deck seats, if at all possible. You don't want to just see the game, you want to HEAR the crowd.
