I don't think you understand the concept of "leftovers". Leftovers are the foods not eaten after a meal has been eaten. I don't think anyone has eaten this food prior to sale. It's "fresh" never having been frozen food.
We have a place somewhat like it here which sells prepared foods which can be heated at home, assuming those foods are traditionally served hot. Foods meant to be eaten cold are obviously not heated.
Do you think Calvin's prepared foods don't sit out for days? Whole Foods prepared foods?
If you don't like eating foods which might be UP TO 5 days old, don't do it. I eat foods that old myself and they taste just fine, but different strokes for different folks.
