I used to live in S.A.**.

I did too, back in late 60s. Actually an all expenses paid journey through Ft. Sam, courtesy of my good Uncle Sam, on the way to an extended stay in a tropic paradise.

Sadly, I can't remember any good places to eat in SA as we were kin'da busy most of the time I was there. I do seem to remember there was a liquor store just off post and a nice combination curb/gutter behind the barracks where I learned to appreciate the joys of very cheap wine.

Our curb faced Lackland and on a clear night we could have cared less what we could see in the sky over there.
