I was one of the "logistical idiots" suggesting the light rail. Getting down to the stadium was no problem, but getting back was an absolute nightmare. I was one of the lucky ones and got on early. I live downtown and only use the light rail for the Rodeo and the concerts thereafter. I've never seen anything like Saturday on the rail.

By the way, the bars downtown seem to agree that Tiger Nation killed it this weekend. They were all overwhelmed and weren't ready for the fury that is an LSU Tiger seeking a drink.

we parked at the fannin st south parking lot south of the stadium ... metro trained it downtown ... There was a tweeked out Mexican guy that was very agitated that I thought I might have to break in half, but nothing happneed...the wives were pretty bothered by it though... Went and had a few drinks at the hay merchant, then some at the saucer...service was great! no problems, metro'd back to the NRG, it was packed but great fun ! had a blast at the game...could get a beer and bathroom during timeouts and no even miss a play ! then hopped on the train heading southbound with minimal wait ! great weekend !
