All the ones we came across were very nice and seemed to look forward to returning the favor in 2016.

Probably just sucked cause you're in Boston... "When in Rome," if you catch my drift

Sat in Section 115 next to obvious Wisconsin students. They put away their keys and started "rattling" their shoes in the air. I asked what that was all about. I was told, "Using your keys implies driving home, and we don't like drunk driving. So this is our way of saying the game's over and it's time to go...let's walk home."

We were in 113. I asked the W guys beside us what's up with shoes and he had a similar response. Kinda weird but it caught on, so kudos for creativity
As for W fans in general, i enjoyed the ones around us. Younger ones (late 20s, early 30s) were talkative and informed. Older ones were very quiet, which is the case for most fan bases.
I did see one lady who i believe may have been the reason why they quit selling alcohol after half. LSU had just scored to make it 21-24 and a lady (mid 50s) who was watching by the concessions, started celebrating. She said "oh we got this now." And she was promptly screamed at by the drunken W lady. Her son (college age) was holding her back. I saw her eyes. I've seen those eyes before and it doesn't end well. But luckily her son who was super embarrassed got her to go sit down. He came right back and apologized. Sad.
Overall i'd say it was good fan experience.
Also, i'd say crowd seemed closer to 70/30 than 80/20.
