I agree, Saudi Arabia is a sponsor of terrorist as is Iran and the U.A.E., but in Saudi Arabia's case I think it is more private individuals, anyways, we needed to get a base, and with the threat and power displayed by the U.S. it was probably hoped that these radicals would see the light and give up. al Qaeda was said to have admitted defeat to informants, then Obama is elected and they are revitalized.

GWB had resistance from the media, U.N., democrats who voted for the war, etc., just trying to take out the tyrant Saddam, who had violated his cease fire agreement, I can't imagine him getting support to go after all the terrorist in all the countries. (which should have been done)

If GWB was king, we would have wiped out terror in the Middle East, but we don't have a monarchy, or didn't until Obama showed up.
