I'm assuming this is including this season's numbers. And no one claimed that this season.

Sooo in summary. Quit being retarded.

To try and say that United has spent more than Chelsea, or that Chelsea didn't buy titles is crazy. I'm not going to lie and say that buying players like Rio wasn't a step in that direction, but it was no where near what Chelsea started.

Up date (or looks like it)

# Net Spend last 5 Years Purchased Gross Sold Nett Per Season

1 Manchester City £439,450,000 £129,900,000 £309,550,000 £61,910,000
2 Manchester United £342,500,000 £49,600,000 £292,900,000 £58,580,000
3 Chelsea £473,759,000 £188,400,000 £285,359,000 £57,071,800
4 Liverpool £351,950,000 £212,150,000 £139,800,000 £27,960,000

I'm not sure where they got the numbers from, but before this season, which is a crucial rebuilding year for Utd., there is just no way Chelsea has spent less.
