Seriously, think about it. 3rd and 6 with Met and Rus. What's your play call options? Let's see... pass, pass, and oh yeah... pass. Let's hope it all works out. With Flynn you didn't know if you were gonna get a designed qb scramble, pass, lat, etc, etc. It's pretty simple actually

Well for starters, LSU won the 2007 natty in his only year as the starter. None of the other 3 you mentioned did that.
Flynn also had by far the better pro career than they did as well, though I realize this may not be in the parameter of best LSU QB lately, that can't be discounted.
Here's to hoping Harris takes this title down the road though.
