It's not silly at all. As long as you don't believe a geographic change is some key to happiness. I have a big and very close and supportive family here in LA. That's the thing that kept me here. Otherwise I'd be fishing for rainbow trout instead of the speckled variety.

Oh, I'm not naive about it. I just want to experience a different region. I've lived in the South almost all my life. And, LA is a great place to live.
For the meantime, though, we're staying here. I don't want to leave my stepdaughter behind. Her father and his family are here, and she's really close to her great grandparents. I don't want to keep her from them.
