I'm thinking about uploading all of my family videos to youtube so we can all access them whenever we want.
However, I am very concerned of privacy issues. Is there a way to use youtube so that only my family members and/or friends can see?

There is a way to make videos private. Sign up with YouTube and upload a test video and try it out. If you "Sign Out" and try to load it you can make sure the average person cannot see it.
