I got robbed of my 23rd mote earlier. I was close to getting one and then participated in a public event and got one as my reward which reset my mote progress. I've been grinding hard to get that 23rd because I want to buy that exotic engram chest piece.
ETA: And by reward, that's all I got was a mote.

Is there any difference in gear as which one is better vanguard or crucible?
