I first started hating Auburn in 1980, when they took a cheap shot on Jesse Myles and broke his leg, ending his season. He was our best RB that year, and actually led the team in rushing that season despite only playing about half the season before that injury. 27 years later, in 2007, Chaz Ramsey was still keeping up that proud Auburn tradition with the chop block on Dorsey.

The truth is, Auburn has not legitimately beaten LSU since 2002. Their only wins since then have been by cheating either on the field (2004, 2006) or off (2010), another proud tradition at Auburn, one of the most penalized schools in NCAA history.

Good point...why would we worry about a team who has beaten us only once in the last 7 tries?

Miss the old days of the Tuberville rivalry. Back when Alabama was irrelevant.

Auburn is a rival in football, but they have yet to compete in anything else. Plus on my two trips to Auburn I really liked it. Sure it was out in the woods, but the students werent total idiots like Ole Miss, Bama, or Florida. I actually respect Auburn like I do Georgia. Barners and Dawgs are my favorite SEC foes. I will still consider them a rival, always have, but we seem to have a bit of mutual respect for one another.
