Try not to put multiples from a single album, if you can avoid it.
And, again, I certainly won't discourage honorable mentions if you wanna go more than ten deep.
Clap your hands say yeah - Coming down
Afghan Whigs - It kills
Spoon - Let me be mine
Jenny Lewis - She's not me
Future Islands - a song for our grandfathers
Coldplay - Ink
The Roots - Tomorrow
Phantogram - The day you died
Foster The People - Coming of Age
RAC - Let Go
HM:
Disclosure - Latch
Ariana Grande - Problem*
Hollywood - Penguin Prison (RAC remix)
Nickel Creek - Hayloft
The New Division -- Kids**
*I'd have never made it as a hipster
**Song from 2012, but didn't hear it until this year, so I'll allow myself this one cheat. Thanks Amazon Kindle Fire commercial!

Limiting it to one per artist, since no one wants to see a list with four The War on Drugs songs on it.
the war on drugs- red eyes
avey tare's slasher flicks- little fang
future islands-seasons
cloud nothings- i'm not part of me
the new pornographers- brill bruisers
twin shadow- to the top
the hold steady- i hope this whole thing didn't frighten you
spoon- do you
wild beasts- wanderlust
sun kil moon- dogs

I didn't know they had a new album out.* Awesome.
*Looks like it drops in two weeks. Good enough. I really like NPs.

I love the NPs too. The other track they released is awesome as well. It's call War on the East Coast (it's a Dan song).

You seem like you keep up with new music pretty well. How many albums would you estimate you listen to in an average year? I'm just curious.
Last year I kept steady at about an album a week, but I've dropped off a bit this year. I may have listened to 20 thus far. Gonna try and close strong. I think new music is good for the soul.

It's hard to say and I really haven't kept up as well this year as in the past. I'd say I've probably really listened to (more than once or twice) 15-20 new releases so far this year. I'm always discovering old stuff in addition to that as well.

I'm the same way. When I listen to a band I like that's been around for a while, I try to back-listen to all their stuff. For example, the first Spoon album I ever heard was Transference in 2010. I loved it and decided to go back and listen to all their albums, and now they're one of my very favorite bands. So, such projects can be worthwhile, and I usually find myself trying to strike a balance between listening to new stuff, and taking a band-at-a-time approach.
I have a friend -- [link=(he has a music blog)]https://www.bdogsmusicblog.com/[/link] -- who probably listens to 10 albums a month without breaking a sweat. He works for a record company, though, so music is sort of his job.

Thanks for the link, I'm enjoying bdog's posts.

Yeah, it's good stuff.
He does basically nothing at all in the way of trying to get traffic to his site -- I think it's just a labor of love for him -- so I try to pimp it out when appropriate because I think it's a good resource. At least I use it that way.
Here's the FB page for his site. I find it a touch easier to navigate: LINK

I've listened to this song at least 100 times and I still love it. Probably my favorite song since at least 2010.

I can't listen to new music because Baton Rouge has no radio stations that play it.
Because of this, my favorite new song so farthis year is a country song by the Zack Brown Band "That's Just How It Goes When You're Gone"
