Is it not OK to bash a group of people for the type of behavior we are seeing in Ferguson?

Is my "white guilt" supposed to have me wringing my hands and feel sorry for them that they feel like they have no other recourse other than to loot?

Not happening.

It is what it is. It is destructive, nonsensical lawlessness perpetrated by despicable human beings that are doing nothing but hurting their own cause. That is, those that actually have a cause, and not the opportunistic thieves.

Their looting only serves the purpose of alienating those that would otherwise share their outrage. The police state is a serious concern for a lot of Americans, but we don't get the opportunity to join them in their outrage because their looting and rioting. It makes rational people say "screw those idiots."

Sure but if you're going to call an entire group of people out based on the actions of a few then the opposite is fair as well--- for instance all the white people who protest the at the holding centers for immigrant children-- why do all white people want to lynch children?

Now, you could say that's an unfair generalization and a massive exaggeration of what they want (both of these are true- for example, I'm white and I don't want to lynch children) but at the same time you seem to be okay with that regarding other groups.

What? I know the point you're trying to make. Assuming anyone has labeled all black people as prone to looting, that'd be ridiculous. I haven't seen anyone do that.

But looting is illegal and destructive. Somehow you're equating protesting an illegal immigrant crisis, which most reasonable people agree is at least arguably worthy of concern, with lynching children? WTF?
