One other thing, after you have a bootable USB created, you're probably going to have to go into the BIOS of the laptop and enable boot from a USB stick.
Your laptop is more than likely set to boot straight from the C drive.
Google something like "[laptop make and model number] change boot drive" and you should find info on how to do it.
It's not too hard... usually something like 1- Hold down F12 key during bootup, 2- Find "Boot Sequence" in bios, 3- Change sequence to USB 1st
Then restart with USB stick installed.

Ok, Again I want to thank you guys for your time and patience because I am very limited in my knowledge of computers. I can post here and check my emails and that's about it. I have never had any incentive to do anymore. I still can't post a pic or link anything in a thread but I get by.
