When are we going to send troops into the Darfur region because of all the mass murder there? When are we going to get back into Somalia to stop all the mass murder going on there?
A valid point. Another reason I'm torn. So we should go invade Iraq bc THESE women got more attention on the news and internet than the thousands of others being brutalized in other places?
We are, however, responsible in part for THIS problem. That's a huge argument for getting involved in Iraq over others.

Link?

I think you're a fricking idiot. Move to Mexico, go hug some trees, and start a blog about how evil the US is. All while having the freedom to sit on your sorry arse and spew your ignorance on the Internet all day.
They have said several times that they're coming here. You think they're going to come in from the north again? Hell no. They will come in through our open southern borders. They hit one of the plants along the MS river, and we are fricked.
Go die in a fire. And I mean that in the nicest way possible
You're insane and fact averse and you try to hard to be "one of the guys". I hope that some day you lose weight and lead a normal life.

We have let it go long enough. We are the most powerful country in the world. We need to round those bastards up like cattle and microwave the frick out of their sorry asses.
We need to get involved in this. I don't want boots on the ground or any more Americans dying, but someone has to stop them.
What do you make of the fact that neighboring countries like Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia don't seem worried enough about ISIS to get involved, despite having militaries that could wipe them out?

So there were no atrocities in Iraq prior to Desert Storm?

And sorry, I think you're awesome, but I didn't read all of your post. I don't mean that in a bitchy way, but TIFWIW.
No worries
But that means you don't understand my point. I've seen the videos.

I posted this in another thread:
quote:
What's happening there now was going to happen if we stayed 10 years or 100 years and it was going to happen whether or not we invaded...we just happened to be the ones that knocked the lid off the boiling pot.
Our invasion was the tipping point, but if we hadn't invaded something else would have lit the fire. So I feel no obligation as an American to go back over there and "fix" the problem. They have to fix it themselves this time.

And then we wouldn't have any responsibility at all. But WE were the ones who created this power vacuum. 10 years later, a 100 years later, something might be different that would influence the brutality of those who moved in. ISIS is not your average bear. So Queda would have been better for the people of Iraq.

There is no question about that.
We absolutely help create this monster. Now, we have the responsibility to stop it.
THEY ARE BEHEADING CHILDREN! How is this ok with some people? Children don't choose their religion.
I wonder if cwill would like to watch his wife get raped and his children beheaded before they wack his own head off. I'm sure it's pleasant.
Like I said earlier....no boots on the ground. I don't want another American to die in that shite hole. I lost the man that I wanted to marry in the first Iraq war. He was a marine, and I think this is the first time that I have ever talked about him here. He promised me that he was coming home. I have his Dog Tags to remember him by. Those of you who say that there was no "front line" in that war need to talk to someone that was in it. A lot of our guys got slaughtered. I do know that if he were still alive, he would be more than willing to fight over this. These evil frickers need to die.
When they bomb something here will you change your mind?

Yes, of course, this flows right from my arguments.

Wow, it's like we're back in 2002 with the fear mongering. Hey, the only way we're going to be secure is to be in a perpetual state of war and we also need to let the NSA spy on everyone because we don't know who might be an ISIS apologist and sympathizer these days.

There is no doubt that Al Queda would have been better.
We would be a better country if Obama weren't elected.
Hindsight is always 20/20.

You're an idiot.
I normally skip over your stupid arse posts and refuse to reply. I gave in this time.
I will continue to ignore you.
And shove your edit up your arse. I'm not reading it. I refuse to dumb down my intellect with your ignorance.

How is that OK with Obama? Oh yeah that's right he wouldn't want to upset his dinner guests.

Before and actually literally right before we went into Iraq, the head cheese was locking Olympic athletes in boxes. For punishment. Killed many Kurdish people. Took over a neighboring country. Allowed storage of terrorist weaponry including suicide type devices. But, nothing going on there before we went in.
