Actually, IQ is more concentrated in the middle with women. Wider dispersed with men. Thus, there are waaaay more male geniuses and waaaay more male idiots.

I don't know many competent women in professional jobs. Not even being sexist. Even my wife hates working with women.

I've heard and read this as well. The smartest people on earth are men but women on average are slightly smarter than the average man.
I actually saw a professor explain once that the best student in his class was almost always a male but more women were in the top 20% or so
