I guess we just disagree on how big a deal it is. I just see it as an honor for a senior leader to wear, usually someone that wasnt a freshmen sensation. So, in my eyes it is almost for an unheralded player, therfore would not be appropriate for a superstar to wear.

#7 on the other hand, has developed into the unofficial label as the teams most talented player.
