At what point in a kids high school career should he start providing information about himself to colleges?

Start early and every year with the updated highlight tape. I have no clue if it will get him noticed. Schools offered my son and had no idea he filled out a form.

I get the feeling that recruiting is not an exact science. Not sure if my kid will be a D1 prospect or not, way to early to tell. But I want to give him as many opportunities as possible.

Exposure. Bring him to bunch of the college camps/showcases. The earlier the better. Don't be afraid to go to the smaller schools. If he stands out then he'll get an offer(if grades are in line).

he has been to the MPA the last 2 years and went to the LSU camp last week. He is only an incoming freshman. Lots of time left
