I actually liked having my kids sleep in the middle of us. A lot of people don't, but I liked the idea of my kids feeling safe and secure at night. And also I didn't have to keep getting up every time they cried or needed something.

I know people who have a kids that they did this with and now that the kids are 5-6 they cant get them out of their bed. To each his own, but Ill pass.
