Apparently, Louisville prefers Donovan Mitchell over Antonio. I personally think they're insane. But if it gets us Blakeney, I'm fine with it.

Exactly. The fans I heard saying this were all saying that Mitchell's skillset fits perfectly into what UL wants... That being said I think Blakeney is the same way to LSU with his ability to stretch the floor but also drive into the lane.

In related Crystal Ball news, Brandon Sampson has like 9 predictions to UCLA. Damn.

Since that offer came, everyone seems to think he's going out west... We shall see. LSU needs some guards this recruiting period.

Hopefully Mitchell pulls the trigger to UL soon and Malik Newman drags his decision out. There have been rumors swirling that Newman might be going to Starkville, which would cause Kentucky to push for Antonio. If that happens, we can kiss him goodbye. Can you imagine Elijah Thomas blocking a shot, grabbing the rebound, outlitting to Ben Simmons, Ben turns it up court and finds Antonio Blakeney for a thunderous alley oop. They just complement each other so well.

I think, and hope, it has everything to do with UCLA's prestige as a power program and there's nothing concrete. Really want Sampson in this class, but if we don't get him I hope the staff goes hard after Dwayne Bacon or Corey Sanders.

Updated the OP to add Jack McVeigh. Really like his overall game, but his size kind of concerns me. If he can add on good weight and put in work on his three pointer, I think he can be Dougie McBuckets 2.0.
