The thing I like to point out about that one is some people say Kurt Warner might be HOF-worthy. He had 2 or 3 great years, was out/not playing much, then came back and had another couple with the Cardinals.

By the time Warner started Favre had started every game for 7 years and he started every game coinciding with Warner's career and he played a little bit after.

And with Dimaggio's record, I read once (and can't find it to check) that a guy named Ken Keltner playing 3rd for the Indians made two really good plays on him the day it stopped and then he immediately had about a 17 game streak starting the next game. I don't remember what the exact number was.

DiMaggio himself said not to read too much into that 17 game streak, b/c (his words) "the pressure was off".
