I'm 31, so I'm talking Josh Booty and up. I grew up with Brock, I know how good he was at Evangel. I'm not living in the moment, I'm giving my honest assessment of him. He's better than any HS QB from this area that I've seen play. I've been saying this since October. Brock had a better career, however watching both players, I'd give the edge to Harris. You hear people use the saying "man amongst boys". That's what it was like watching him play in person. It was like watching an elite college kid playing against high school kids. We can agree to disagree.

Berlin and Booty were two of the best coached and mature prospects from Shreveport true. Booty was the better athlete of the two and Berlin career wise was not the more successful. Booty was an all SEC quarterback where Berlin started out in florida and transferred to Miami. His career was mediocre in most estimations. His lack of arm strength being a key to his lack of real success.
From Shreveport you can say for pro success
Bradshaw
Ferguson
Humphries
Woodley

Then
Booty
Berlin
Battle
Duron
Philyaw
As good college

Joey Belle played qb at Huntington
Younger Durons you can pick one all great athletes
Joel Thomas tied td record of ferguson as a one year starter on 14-0 1973 Captain Shreve team, the. All conference safety at Tech
Brent Rawls
Ronnie Prude
Richard Gay Byrd high school A and M for a Bear Bryant
Jimmy Orton Fair Park started as a freshman later in Yankees system as backup to Billy Martin

I guess so. I'm just taking into count that those guys played against de la salle, WM in their prime, Dallas carter which IMO makes a big difference. I also believe Patterson will be a better QB than Harris. He's going to be a junior and is where Harris was (maybe a bit behind) when he was a senior. Don't get me wrong I wasn't trying to put down Harris or your opinion I was just enjoying a friendly debate on QBs in this area and it's quite amazing the amount of talent at QB Shreveport has produced
