I was mostly with you until here. it's like you turned into this guy.
he avoided turnovers? lol. he also avoided good QB play. he was worse in the SECCG than he was in the BCSCG. and yeah I know he threw a TD vs UGA, but he coulda thrown that ball to Hilliard underhanded. he was awful that game. just awful.

But that's my point (sorry this is blending into the other thread about the game plan).
As awful as he played, he didn't turn the ball over, which allowed our D, ST, and running to blow a really good Georgia team off of the field.
We didn't need great or even good QB play for our game plan to be very effective.
The QB just had to not turn the ball over. JJ was the best QB to do that against Bama (again, I know this thread isnt about The Rematch, but this is being influenced by the discussion in the Blackwell thread )
