whats city #32?
Columbus
The Mayor of Columbus has expressed and sent his desire to land an NBA franchise in the city to the commisioners office multiple times. Columbus is the 15th largest city in America at well over 800k and growing faster then any city in the Midwest. Columbus would own the Columbus/Cincinnati/Dayton market which is significant!! Columbus is a legit darkhorse candidate.
Having said that, i would love for the NBA to go to a mid-sized market that doesnt have a proffessional franchise. I think more single sport cities would make for better attendance and a closer connection with fans/players in all pro sports....like Green Bay. So if they were ever to go that route i think interesting options could be:
Las Vegas
Boise
Omaha
Albuquerque
