Maybe but they COULD have received a lot more. The kid told the officer he was drunk but the officer instructed him to get behind the wheel and that ultimately caused his death, thats huge! Also, the fact that the dashcam didn't come on until after he was shot was huge. They could have easily received 7 figures.

So isn't it tax payer money being used in these suits. Taxpayers should be able to vote and decide who is responsible for wasting their tax dollars
