And that is why your ability to judge the two groups open-mindedly is skewed.

As for me, I have conservative leanings fiscally, liberal leanings socially, and attempt to keep a realistic view if situations, not always successfully.

I'd probably call myself a classical liberal, but I'm sure that could be disputed.

And I expect open-mindedness as well. It's a two way street.

That is also the reason I like talking with the Democrats on here. They offer something different.

The issue arises when people claim racism or sexism or blah blah blah.

Keep the emotions out of it, and the discussion will go places. That is a lesson everyone should take to heart.

I just skip over the stupid posts.
