Z Street, a Jewish state advocate, filed suit in 2010 when their lawyers were told that all Israeli supporting groups applying for 501 (c) (4) status were being put in a “ special units ” division to determine whether the organization's positions contradict those of the administration.

Since the case was filed in 2010, didn't the IRS have a duty / obligation from that very moment (2010) to preserve ALL RELEVANT documents under threat of obstruction of justice !!!

On May 27, 2014 a federal judge ordered the Z Street case to go forward, and dismissed the U.S. governments claims that the federal courts lacked jurisdiction.

I would like to see that quote. I sincerely doubt it was worded in such a manner, but if it were Washington would melt the frick down.

So, who WOULD have jurisdiction?
