Just got back from Seattle area 2 days ago. We stayed north of Seattle in Shoreline and made a nice trip up to Bellingham and east up around Mt Baker. Easy and scenic drive to Artist Point - elevation 5100. Nice views of mountains and glacier and plenty of snow for kids. Road just opened on July 1st. Snow was still powdery and several families were sledding down some hills.
Did some easy hikes in Bellingham to view some waterfalls, drove the coastal hills through Fairhaven and enjoyed one of the many brew pubs for lunch.

Was just there 2 weekends ago

We brought the sleds up and went sledding in the 75 degree weather. It felt really good.
