Post hoc ergo propter hoc?

quote:

Kansas Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, Tornadoes, and Flooding
July 22, 2013 to August 16, 2013
Major Disaster Declaration declared on October 22, 2013
Kansas Snowstorm
February 20, 2013 to February 23, 2013
Major Disaster Declaration declared on April 26, 2013

quote:

Drought conditions have prompted The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to declare 37 Kansas counties as primary natural disaster areas and qualify for Federal assistance.

Sometimes, there is NOT a direct relationship between two things.

It takes a LOT more effort to determine why revenues are lower than "tax hikes / cuts"

Those were a direct result of the tax cuts! You didn't see tornadoes and flooding in San Francisco, did you?

[quote]Post hoc ergo propter hoc?[/quoteYou will have to translate that for those of us who don't speak jive. We learned proper foreign languages like Mexican.
