Well I think we're just done trying to "fit in." American players are used to having their fans cheer in a particular way. So as fans, we have a responsibility to do whatever it takes to get our guys to play to their best of their abilities and if the rest of the world doesn't like then that's their problem.

Soccer snobs who myopically believe that "their way is the only proper way" can eat a bag of deltas.

We are the United States of America, and we will call the game what we like, play the game how we want to play it, and support our team the way we like to do it. To paraphrase the Millwall song of old, "No one likes us, no one likes us, no one likes us, we don't care. We're the U.S. SUPER U.S., no one likes us, we don't care".

Pittsburgh steelers fans should ditch the terrible towels and hold up black and yellow scarves on 3rd and medium while chanting "you'll never make a first down" in unison as the small gaggle of baltimore ravens reply "come on flacco" repeatedly until both sectors are washed out by the HEEEEEEEEEY as flacco's pass sails out of bounds over dennis pittas head and the punting team trots out
