I have f150 with 17k on it. Ecoboost is a great motor which I feel is proven. It's been around longer than most believe. If you drive conservatively you will get great MPG which I tried to do the first few months. Then my old habits kicked in and as said earlier the MPG is nothing to brag about especially when towing. It's definitely got some gitty up and can tow like a champ

Thanks for all the replies, I was on the road for a bit. But, it will be a 4 door/crew cab. I don't mind if it is a bit used. I don't really want anything over 15k miles. I have looked from Baton Rouge all the way to Houston for deals, and I find there are much better deals in the Houston area. My next question is, I wonder the interest rates are on the used trucks. I know a while back Ford was offering no interest on their brand new trucks but the same offer didn't apply for the used. If that was the case I would go with a new truck. I am heavily leaning towards Ford I just want to make sure there isn't something another truck can offer that the Ford can't. I am very interest in the Ecoboost but just like another poster said, I am suspect about this being the first year it is in the F150's. How much better will the gas mileage be in the ecoboost vs the 5.0?
