There are some responses in this thread that is not helping Rand Paul at all in his outreach.
We all know how poorly off blacks have been under the democrat party and continuing to vote for them but reminding them of that in a harsh way will not get you anywhere. You catch more flies with honey, not vinegar.
Anyway, if Rand can get 10 to 17% of the black vote, he wins the general comfortably.

maybe with a Herman Cain as a running mate, don't see many black conservatives with the potential to help him though, maybe someone like Jennifer Carroll from FL as well. The Alan Wests and Alan Keyes are too big a lighting rod for the Jesse Jacksons and white liberals to attach their hate to.
The more moderate Rice's and Powells just don't inspire much from the independent and conservative base.
Of course the Rove Repubs will do whatever they can to destroy Rand and anyone who stands with him.
Death and more of the same D.C. stupidity is about the only thing we can count on.

Wasn't it Bobby Jindal who said you can't get people to vote for you by insulting them?
