Saints fans though Junior should start over Will Smith
the problem is fans don't know what's going on behind closed doors. starting the most talented player is not always the best thing for the organization. good coaches understand this and protect the long term health of the organization. from the fan perspective, the coaches are stupid because anybody can see that x player is better than y. it's oversimplification.

a good example is perrilloux. now, jr vs smith might have been something to a lesser degree than rp but, the principle could be the same. fans don't see the personal dynamics or injuries throughout the week. they just see the game and some interviews but continue to think the coaches are ignorant.

Just because information may be asymmetrical doesn't mean the coach is always right. More information still doesn't guarantee an optimal decision. That's what people bringing up this tired bullshite all the time don't understand.
