He is enormously slow...90+% of the time, the play will end, and up trots #31....If he is bigger, he will be even slower. He may be smart and the "QB" they need to call the defense, but in totality he is a MAJOR handicap.
But, if Miles admires and kid, especially if he is an upper classman, he will play him no matter what, so get used to #31.

Because Miles NEVER plays underclassmen, not even freshmen?
Now pick up the phone and call your mom and apologize for being such an embarrassment to her.

Anyone paying attention, and not just throwing out agenda BS, would know there are many, many examples of upper class guys sitting and watching Fr. or So. play.
I'm pretty sure our DC gets to play pretty much who he wants to play.

This may have been true just a few years back but certainly isn't the case anymore imo.
The attrition caused by so many underclassmen going to the NFL has forced the coaching staff to rethink this issue. They basically have no choice but to look at everybody available, including true freshman, equally and put the best guys out there regardless of age or class.
Who knows, maybe the new highly regarded LB from up north, Clifton Garrett, comes in this fall and takes the position.
