Let's just all take a moment to bask in the success we had in this game and look onward to what will be a nasty defense full of Bengal Speed™
Auburn is lucky that they even scored 21. With a much improved secondary, LSU's defense should be able to prevent the DBQB from making big plays.

I disagree. They started off slow and fell way behind early but by the second half they had our defense figured out. They just ran out of time. If the game had been five quarters I think they would have won.

If we would have played them later in the year, it may have been a different story. I'm glad we got to play them early though.

Side note: LSU should really trademark "Bengal Speed"

The best thing we did that game was not allow any big plays. We gave them 3-5 yards pretty much every play until Auburn made a mistake. That happens when you don't give up any big plays.
