you won't be able to find an objective list. both territories point fingers at each other.

So is there a list or not?
If there's a list, I'm sure you could reasonably piece together who did what by news reports of the time line.

What I'm getting at here (and I'm biased against Muslims) is that it seems like every time there's a ceasefire, I hear on the news, "Hamas fired rockets into Israel today", or "Three Israeli soldiers were killed today by militants." Is the media lying or am I missing something?

its a complex question w/o an easy answer. the best answer is the news you are getting is bias towards favoring israel. the same incident will be reported in a completely different context by countries that align themselves more with palestine. watch that video in my above post. you will learn a crapload in a short period of time.

I am in Israel right now and I used to share some of the anti Islamic sentiment that you all do but I believe this board needs to know the truth about what's really happening here and not just what the mainstream American propaganda machine is telling you.

My first impression upon coming here was that I would be embraced for being an American and ally but that was really not the case at all. The Jewish community here is highly restrictive and ostentatious to outsiders even American Jews. Of everywhere I've been in the world, Israelis are the rudest, unfriendliest people I've ever met as a whole. The first thing the country reminded me of in my first few days was the nazi Gestapo police state. There are police and soldiers EVERYWHERE giving orders and telling people where and where they can't go. Israel is a very strict police state and not the "free" country that our country makes it out to be. Just soldiers and police on every corner detaining every suspicious person or anyone protesting for speaking out. There is no freedom of speech. It's a joke. The Palestinians I met and talked with really just want peace and to end the oppression. The only money they really get is from tourists coming to Bethlehem and the West Bank to see the holy land but when the media blows up these events, tourists are scared to go there and cancel their flights. You do realize there is a wall between the West Bank and israel that lthe israelis built higher than the Berlin Wall right? Palestinians are not allowed to leave the West Bank or Gaza for ANY reason. If they leave, the Israeli government will not allow them to re-enter and therefore have to take refuge in Jordan or Lebanon, countries that are also not Palestinian friendly. They are not allowed to enter Israel unless given special consent (basically only bus drivers). If they move to israel, they can never go back to see their families and are heavily ostracized by the Jews. The Israeli government does not supply the Palestinians with fresh water, food, or trade and has locked down the West Bank into something similar to a Warsaw ghetto. The Palestinians have to dig their own wells for water. The Israelis are basically trying to starve them out of Gaza and the West Bank. In the day I spent in Bethlehem and Hebron, I realized that these are a very open, friendly people much much more so than the Jews. They were not dangerous and were interested in talking with me and telling me the history of their country (Jews don't know much history of Israel since they've only lived there for 60 years give or take) They also just want people to understand that every Palestinian is not like Hamas, however they just want freedom whether it's in israel or as an independent country. In many ways There is more freedom under the Palestinian laws and they don't force you to recognize their religious holidays (such as Ramadan) like the Israelis. For instance, yesterday was Shabbat (Jewish day of rest every Saturday) and it is forbidden to work, drive, or exercise in any Jewish sector of Israel. If Orthodox Jews see you driving on their streets, they immediately pelt your vehicle with rocks, eggs, tomatoes, and eggs. They don't even want to see you walking on their streets and basically told me to "frick off" a few times because I wasn't Jewish. They are highly discriminatory and racist to anyone that isn't orthodox. The Ethiopian Jews for instance, who believe the exact same thing, are completely ostracized because they are African. As a result, Israelis don't support their businesses or let them attend their schools, and police randomly throw them in jail under no other pretense than suspicion. The idea of a free Israeli country is an absolute farce. The Palestinians deserve to have their own country, government, trade, etc because then the gazans could take refuge on the West Bank and finally live in peace from Israeli oppression. As a result, there would be less fighting between the two. The oppression is almost on the same level of Tibet and worse in some ways. So who are the real bad guys here? Just look at the numbers (I don't have a link, on my phone) but the Israelis have killed something like ten innocent Palestinian children in the past week and 26 other innocent civilians in one week. Compare that to just three Israeli children and a few rockets hitting the irondome. The Israelis are hypocritical and no better than the nazis.. At least the Germans have learned their lesson and treat everyone in their country equally and with tolerance for all ethnicities and faiths. The Israelis should take a step back and remember what it was like to be oppressed themselves and empathize not only with Palestinians (who've lived there there for centuries longer than the Israelis) but Ethiopians, Russians, gypsies, Arabs, and other foreigners to their country. I hope I don't get banned for this. It's just my opinion from my vacation so please just take it fwiw. #freepalestine

Read through your post and I don't really care what your observations are. Israel is in a state of emergency right now so obviously the country is uptight and suspicious. As for the "mistreatment" of the Palestinians, that's what you get from years of poking the dragon. I have no sympathy.
