I play through a genz - benz 1-15 combo. 3-400 watts. It's versatile and lightweight, but plenty of power for pretty much any venue. Has a horn, and a convenient XLR out. EBay, yo. Got it for like $450 new. Think they're about $800 list.

The only thing I don't like about eBay is that often your savings disappears due to shipping costs. And amps aren't exactly lightweight (assuming you didn't mean local pick up).
