Ok, I have a Biology degree from South Alabama. My diploma says Bachelor of Science. (Because Biology is a Science). It would also say Bachelor of Science if I had a degree in Chemistry. (Because chemistry is a science). Biology is a degree, just as general studies is a degree. Apparently there is a biology concentration in general studies, but it doesn't cover the requirements for a Bio degree. It just covers enough credits to be considered a "concentration." That's the only way I can explain it.
