Link to people being forced to share this habit with smokers?

seriously, you probably don't realize how deceptive and misleading this statement is.

the world is a completely different place now with regards to smoking. You might not notice it, since I think you are under 25.

When I started college, all of this happened:
* I worked at a bookstore, and you could smoke while you worked (although this changes pretty quickly).
* I had a professor in college that smoked while he taught. He was probably breaking the rule, but there was nothing you could do about it.
* You could smoke in your dorm room without your roommate's consent.
* At my high school, if you were over 16, you could smoke on school grounds!
* You could smoke on planes, although you might remember this
* I remember going to the SS office as I lost my card in 1989 or so, and there were people smoking in the waiting room.

Its changed a lot and I have to say, I am glad it changed. I don't know about a total public ban, but I have to admit I like the existing rules. A lot.
