Because it's almost never shown on tv. Though I do think DirectTV shows Super Rugby matches but they all come on at like 2am in the morning.

Most Americans have probably never even seen a Rugby match. I have to download all my matches. I'd be thrilled if Rugby got even 1/10th the coverage that Soccer gets.

I didn't really understand soccer until this World Cup and specifically Colombia and Germany

I used to be hung up on goals too but have come to appreciate the skill to play correctly. I really enjoy the intensity and anxiety of the lack of scoring but the abundance of chances

I have seen the error of my ways and have repented
