Nothing in this area of sociology is every 100% true or false. It is defined by majority and minority factors at play.

In my personal opinion, the racial factor associated w/ economic advancement is a minority factor, or at least it has become one over time.

Was the racial element initially a majority factor? Definitely.

Did the racial aspect give rise to the many of the current majority factors? Sure.

At this point in time though, the new metastatic aspects of the initial cancer (racial discrimination) have become more deadly, if you catch my drift. The racial discrimination element has largely been subdued by our society. The problem is addressing the issues that arose due to years of discrimination. I have no answers or solutions to that.

Bear in mind, I'm not saying that people aren't racist anymore. That is wholly untrue.
