re: How old is the USA to you? (and maybe discuss the revolution and founding?)

I know this post will probably not be received well. But oh well, i will have to say about 51 years old. Going back to 1963 when the civil rights act was passed. Before this point this country was just a racist shithole. I am so glad and blessed to have grown up in the era i did. An era where i can truly say the sky is the limit not only for me but any and all citizens. I love my country for what it is now, not what it used to be.
