In a WWII era raft at that. It was incredible luck.
Laura Hillenbrand is my favorite author right now. She also wrote Seabiscuit. I read if after I read Unbroken. I was never interested in a horse story but it is a great read too. The degree of research she does to write her books is amazing.
She suffers from some Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and rarely leaves her house according to Wiki. I will read anything she publishes. I hope she writes more.
