I think few would debate that GM makes a good V8. The sound of a GM V8 just sounds great and this has always been the case. This coming from a Ford guy.

Are the new Ram's that bad? I recently test drove a new Ram, a Ford Ecoboost, and a Silverado.
The Ram was the best ride of all 3.
The Chevy was ok, just not a big fan of the interior.
The Ecoboost was nice, power wise it felt closer to my old Tundra than any of the others, didn't like the ride though. It was a used FX4 and the interior looked like it had been beat to hell, the truck only had 20K miles too. Makes me question the quality.
I'll probably get a new truck at the end of the year or early next year. Right now it's between the Ram or going back to the Tundra.
