The XL egg is shallower so it cooks a little different than the large. Not a big deal, just have to learn it.

Now...
1) Yes they are worth the money
2) Yes you can cook other things besides BBQ.
3) I like that they can get as high as 650/700 and hold...or low and slow and hold.
4) No yeti here.
